Jamie Benn injured in Dallas Stars 4-2 win vs. Vancouver Canucks

The Dallas Stars ended a losing streak but lost captain Jamie Benn in a 4-2 win against the Vancouver Canucks.

Benn sustained an upper-body injury and didn’t return after a fight in the second period with Nikita Tryamkin.

After the game Lindy Ruff said Benn would be evaluated tomorrow and wasn’t sure whether it was sustained in the fight or not.

When asked if he liked the fight, Ruff said he was happy with it. He felt it set an example for the team, which has struggled lately.
